Sermon – Turn To Jesus
Sermon – 8-14-2011
Turn to Jesus
If God is who we believe God to be, we only need to love people for Christ’s sake. We do not need to force our perspectives on others, nor scold those whom we consider to have a less mature theological view, nor harangue those who have not even begun a journey of faith. That is a fundamental lack of trust in the gift of the Holy Spirit. We are only called to love others and then trust God to work the miracle of faith in a person’s life.
Announcements 8-23-11
This Sunday, August 28th:
There will be NO worship at our Revolution Church. I will be in NY consulting with one of our partner congregations, and most of our lay leadership will be unable to attend due to other commitments. We will resume worship on Labor Day Weekend. There will be worship, however, at our traditional service, 9:30 AM at our East Pittsburgh worship location. Deacon Richard McGartland will be leading the service.
